What We Believe
In a busy and demanding world, all people long for a sense of sabbath--a time and place to reconnect with ourselves, our neighbors, and God. At Community Church, we look forward to Sunday worship as that time and place for reconnecting. Through music and sermon, prayer and silence, bread and cup, our church family finds strength and hope.
We are a community committed to following the teaching and example of Jesus through our worship, fellowship, and mission. We believe in the healing power of humor and the transformational power of love. We believe in being responsible stewards of God's green earth. We try to bear in mind Micah's wise words: "What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with thy God?"
We invite people of all backgrounds to join us as we seek a deeper sense of God's love. Our doors and hearts are open to welcoming all God's people. No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here with us.
